Our Foundation

Strengthening families from the inside out

We partner with school districts, healthcare organizations, and community leaders to deliver culturally resonant parent coaching, interactive workshops, and sustainable family engagement programs that uplift diverse communities.

About Coach Buck

I'm Chaniqua (Chan), a Certified Personal Coach through the Academy of Creative Coaching and a Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT) graduate student (expected graduation, December 2027). For over 10 years, I've worked in nonprofits, mental health, and education, designing workshops and coaching individuals and families to build systems of support that last.

My own journey has shaped this work. As a new mom, I experienced homelessness, shelters, and rebuilding my life after an abusive relationship where I lost everything — friends, income, employment, and even a sense of myself. Navigating ADHD, financial recovery, and isolation as a single parent taught me firsthand how vital community, resilience, and systems of care truly are.

Today, that lived experience — paired with my professional training — fuels my mission: to help millennials, parents, and organizations move from stress, conflict, and financial anxiety into confidence, belonging, and well-being. I help others break barriers, rediscover their strengths, and build lives where they can thrive.

What Makes My Coaching Different

I take a team-based approach designed for long-term success, blending trauma-informed practices, experiential learning, and real-life application. Whether in a 1:1 session, a family Huddle, or a workplace workshop, my focus is on building curated systems of care that continue after our time together.

What You Can Expect

You’ll feel supported, understood, and equipped with practical tools. Every session leads to a clear plan, renewed confidence, and systems to help you succeed at home, at work, and in your community.

What Keeps Me Going

My son inspires me every day, along with my passion for helping others move from burnout, financial stress, and isolation into belonging, resilience, and confidence.

Our 3-Core Beliefs

"Believe In Y.O.U."

First & Always

We believe that our effectiveness starts with you taking the risk to believe in yourself. We know it can be a challenge at first, and we're here to support you. Just give it a try!

"We are a Team and You are our Team Mate"

We embrace a TEAM APPROACH!

Think of us as a sports team you're interested in.

Assess our talent and relationships to see if we can gel.

There's NO HIERARCHY HERE!

We all have skills that can support and educate each other.

"We are here to work ourselves out of a contract and You into a network"

Our goal is for our Team Mates to reach back and pull up another Team Member.

Whether through coaching or other ways, being a BNU Team Mate is just the beginning of your journey with us!
